Here & Now with Erin Bode

Erin Bode Banner 2.jpg

Erin Bode, one of the St. Louis region’s brightest and most celebrated jazz vocalists, will bring her mix of talent, sophistication and class to the intimate setting of the Emerald Room at the Monocle for three shows on one fabulous weekend May 17-18, 2019.

“The acoustics of the space are perfect for the singer’s mesmerizing vocals and the room is an ideal place to highlight the way Bode likes to entertain.”
The Erin Bode Group will take the stage at 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 pm on Friday and at 7:00 pm on Saturday for a limited engagement of 3 “Here and Now” shows. The Monocle is located at 4510 Manchester in St. Louis. The doors will open ½ hour before each show and the bar will feature drink specials each night. Tickets are $20-25 through www.themonoclestl.com.

In the decade-plus since Erin Bode began her professional recording career, she has garnered much critical praise for her pure voice, perfect pitch and impressive phrasing and style. It is this talent, coupled with her reluctance to accept classification as a purely jazz vocalist that has led to reviews hailing her as “someone you won’t forget” and comparing her sound to the likes of Eva Cassidy, Norah, Jones, and Karrin Allyson. The band has eight studio albums in its repertoire. The latest, “Here and Now”, is available on disc as well as the brand new vinyl bonus track edition.
