The Monocle welcomes Dixie D's USO Jubilee: An Immersive 1940s Canteen on May 25, 2019 for a thrilling night of vintage entertainment. Take a step back in time and experience the glamour and glitz of the Fabulous 40s in this full immersive event. See the inspiration of entertainers like Bob Hope, The The Andrews Sisters, Abbott and Costello, and more. Dixie Denier presents her USO Jubilee, paying homage to the canteens during WWII. Dixie has traveled the country for 8 years as a singer and actor producing large scale USO and Camp shows at nationally recognized WWII Reenactment events, and is now producing the show on a local level for the first time. Step into a world filled with vintage inspired entertainment from music, dancing, singing, comedy, burlesque and more. This event strives to present 1940s USO entertainment in the most authentic way. 1940s attire is strongly encouraged, and a best dressed award will be given out. Some display items including a WWII jeep will be on location for that perfect photo opportunity.

The Monocle will have a delicious USO inspired drink special. Bar opens at 6pm. The Emerald Room Venue opens at 8pm. This immersive canteen kicks off at 9pm till 1am! Tickets are $15 in advance. $20 at the door. $15 at the door for Veterans and Military. See you at the swinging canteen!
